Important information regarding online applications for properties NOT located in Maryland,Virginia or Wash.DC:  Effective January 1, 2010 federal regulations require lenders to quickly provide very specific and accurate costs associated with a residential mortgage loan.  The accurate costs lenders must now provide are state, county and city specific and not readily available or controlled by NASA FCU.  We must research the costs before we can provide a required Good Faith Estimate at time of official application.  Being a federally chartered credit union, NASA FCU is able to provide residential mortgage loans to our members in most states however it is not practical to track and maintain an up to the minute national database of local taxes, fees and settlement charges for every county and city in the country to meet federal disclosure requirements with automated online applications.  If your property is in Maryland, Virginia or Wash DC you will be able to proceed with the online application.  If the property is NOT in Maryland, Virginia or Wash DC, please proceed and you will soon be prompted for contact information or to call our mortgage dept. for personal assistance with your mortgage application.  Our staff is ready to help!
